Dropbox recently sponsored BattleHack LA, a hackathon organized by Braintree, where the winner was an awesome Dropbox hack. Droplock is a tool to help you when your laptop is stolen by storing info in your Dropbox (external IP address, wireless network, photos taken with the laptop's built-in camera, etc.).
